"She came back through the stones?"
"Aye, she did. They always do.”
Brian Buckner revealed to TVline why Eric and Sookie didn’t get back together.
As for not revisiting Eric and Sookie’s romantic history in Season 7, Buckner said it simply wouldn’t have worked as well as it had in Season 4. “When Eric and Sookie [reunited] this season, I was really impressed with the romantic undertones,” he admitted. “But we didn’t go back there because it would have been sloppier, story-telling-wise.”

What Brian Buckner says is pretty fucking frustrating. WArning it will anger you. I’m pretty pissed off with him trying to make Bill “heroic.”
….i’m going to miss you ya smirky bastard.
Three good things happened in the finale:
1) Bill is truly dead;
2) Sookie didn’t sacrifice her fae nature to save him; and
3) Eric and Pam are alive.
Thank you true blood fans for being so awesome. I wish I could send a personal apology to every True Blood fan who has had to suffer the past couple of seasons with how awful the writing has been.
The series finale was a complete fucking bore. Only good part of the ending was Eric and Pam owning New Blood.
Yes I’m relieved Sookie didn’t end up with Bill. I’d rather her end up with a nameless character than Bill.
I have so many good memories of True Blood such as being able to see the wonderful cast at San Diego Comic-con every year and one time at Paleyfest when they were promoting season 4. I will cherish all the memories I got to see Alexander Skarsgard talk about Eric Northman. I’ve been so lucky to each of them.
I wish these amazing actors on the show were blessed with a better written last season. Such a waste of talent this season.
I gotta say at least Eric got a better ending in the show than he did in the books.
It would have been so great if the writers followed the plot of Altogether Dead when Sookie goes to the vampie convention. I was really looking forward to that when I read that book.
“[These are] the little moments that Claire finds herself falling for him. […] These are the things that show…what great intuition he has…but also what a big heart he has…and that he was willing to take a risk to do something for Claire ‘cause he could tell that that was really upsetting her. So I think these are all the little moments where their bond grows deeper and the love starts to blossom.” – Caitriona
"I think it also shows that they work well together as a team, you know, that they don’t really have to plot or plan anything. It sort of just comes naturally to them. And, yeah, I think they work well together. They kind of enjoy that." – Sam [x]
